 American Golden Plover Churchill – Manitoba, Canada During our visit to Churchill this past June we arrived with our carry on luggage but our checked bags were stuck in Winnipeg for the evening. This meant we had all of our gear except our tripods. We tried to make the best of the situation by scouting around, and came across this bird. We had one empty bean bag that we filled with rocks and shared to snap a couple of shots before moving on. Our checked bags arrived around noon the next day. Digital capture with Canon 1D Canon 500mm f/4 with 1.4x teleconverter Evaluative metering for 1/200 at f/7.1 ISO 250 Flash at -1.7 Beanbag filled with rocks Image comments/critiques appreciated!
