A very dramatic shot well taken. I've been lucky enough to see "humpies" on a couple of occasions but sadly I've never seen one breaching - your picture conveys what must be a spectacular sight.

Are you planning on posting any more from this series ?

Don't know whether he has a humped back but I do know that he has a very large chest. :)

Wonderful capture; love the way he's twisting as he breaches, giving a twisted spray pattern.

This is a great capture! I especially like that you've got the animal completely below the horizon, so it isn't being cut in half, and that the horizon is level. Difficult to accomplish for sure. A whale of a photo, to be sure!

Great shot Geo. I like this one a lot. I have seen humpbacks breaching, but it was before I had 'real' camera equipment.
