Hello NSN! This was taken in the Big Meadow's area of Shenandoah National Park where I do most of my photography. I'm still relatively new to nature photography, so any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for looking.
Chris

It's hard to tell you are new by looking at this shot. I like the colors and composition.

Welcome aboard and a nice shot to start with. I like the quality of the light here. I do wish that the legs had not been chopped off at the bottom of the frame.

Welcome Chris and thanks for posting. Excellent light quality here and love the velvet on the horns. I guess I am with EJ in wanting some room for the virtual legs and feet, maybe vertical would have worked a bit better. Glad to have you in the forum both commenting and posting and this is an excellent start.

Welcome. Very nice first post. Other than the 'virtual legs' I like everything else about this shot. Both the light and the pose are wonderful.

Beautiful light and I rather like the panoramic format for this. A bit more at the bottom as the others have noted is all one could wish for here. Really nice!

Amen to Cheryl's comments. I also like the horizontal composition.
