Canon Elan 7e, 100-400 IS, Provia. Cropped a bit on all sides and took out some (maybe too much) of the blue cast. All critiques appreciated! Thanks.

Kelly,
This is a great looking bull and I love the background of partly frozen lake. Cool shot.

One foot is def in midair so this works. I like this shot. I particularly like the ice patterns in the background.. Seems a very thin titch dark on my monitor, but it was late afternoon if I remember, otherwise no nits..

As Dennis says, the BG is lovely with the ice-flow patterns and the Elk is well captured as main subject. The two together make a really nice image. I like this a lot!

I really like the environmental aspects of this one. I think I would lighten it just a tad.

Nice image. The only thing I might do is lightly dodge the face to put some highlight into it.

I love the background! He's not bad either. It looks like he's off to an important meeting- perhaps to put a rival in his place?
