Elk Calf Rocky Mountain National Park

A couple weeks ago when we went to RMNP we were treated to literally hundreds of elk. This is from the same group that went running across the road and down the hill as one I posted a while back. I got it with three out of four feet off the ground. :)

Another one where I had forgotten to set the ISO back to 200 from 800. The image still held up pretty good.

10D, 300/4, 1.4x
Eval @ -2/3, Av @ f5.6, SS 1/4000, ISO 800
Handheld
Cropped ~15% for web presentation

All comments and critiques are welcome. Thanks for looking. :)

Great job catching him in motion. The surrounding environment really gives a sense of where this calf lives, yet isn't at all cluttered.

He looks like he's doing the moonwalk. Neat shot.
