One morning while at one of the crane pools a couple of Coyotes came to check out the pools.

Jimmy, if this was mine it would be on my wall!!!

This image tells the whole story, no words are necessary.

One of the best images I have ever seen come out of Bosque.

And, no, I would not retouch the eye shine, to me it spells early morning, and helps convey that to the viewer.

Best,

Chas

Very nice Jimmy.....classic...although he looks uninterested in the geese nearby, Wiley E Coyote is always looking for dinner.

Interesting flash images posted lately...the dreaded "red eye" in chas owl shot, and the "white eye" shown here, have surprisingly added to the feeling of the image. So much for the rules I guess :0)

This, I would hang on a wall.

I agree with every reply before mine...
A complete image with a story, action and colors.

All my congratulations: one of the best shots I've seen here on NSN!

Cool shot; really tells the story with the bit of motion in the birds.

Hey Jimmy,

A big 'well done' for the idea here. I think I might have tried to execute it slightly differently (I was working on some similar shots with deer in the forest recently), but this one certainly is interesting. Great mood.

Cheers

Carl, are you kidding, this was a grab shot in light barely bright enough to see in. The coyote(s) came from nowhere, quickly making there way past the pond on the opposite side. I think Jimmy had time to get off only a shot or two. I never even had time to pull the trigger.

Tremendous work, Jimmy. I'll just call you Frans from now on, because that's the class this picture is in. Congrats!
