I wanted this tight image last year, but I never seemed to be in the right place at the right time. This year with some cooperative subject's and a bit of perseverance, I achieved my goal.

BTW-this behavior is not unique to this species, as I most assuredly have seen this look on occasion in a few bars.

Best, and see you in the field,

Cool shot!

Any time I see the word flehmen, I think of your "closing time at the bar" impression last year in Jasper. :)

Love that look.

"... as I most assuredly have seen this look on occasion in a few bars." Remind me not to join you in any bars!

Great capture on common behavior of sheep in Jasper and guys in local bars... The look in the eye is great.

I like how the bright red contrasts with the other muted colors. The snowball is an interesting oddity. Great shot!

Nice lips on this guy. Great clear close up. Was it THAT cold that the ice was sticking to their coat? Burr.

Hey Chas,

I like this a lot. The light has a marvelous quality to it, and the processing is exceptionally clean.

Cheers
