Woodchuck (Marmota monax)

also called Groundhog/Eastern Marmot. This is one of my first images with my EOS 10D. It is quite common animal here in Montreal, but it took me a while to get a decent photo. On this one I like especially grass as it shows the animal in its natural biotop. Do you like it too or is it distracting for you?

You made this groundhog that I normally consider quite ugly actually look cute! The lush grass is nice, and the exposure is perfect.

Very nice, Fero. I really like your shooting angle here, as it looks like you got right down to his level, and the surrounding grasses are a great setting. Only suggestion might be to aim a bit further left to include more of the body and less centering of the head.
