Elk Rocky Mountain National Park

I posted this image a couple weeks ago with a foreground distraction that nearly ruined the image. I have reworked it in PS by cropping the bottom and cloning out the big green splooge in the fg and, IMHO, the image looks a lot better.

What do you all think?

BreezeBrowser exposure compensation +2/3 prior to conversion
Handheld

All comments and critiques are welcome. Thanks for looking. :)

I think it looks just a ZILLION times better. Excellent PS work Bill. On my monitor the snow looks a titch on the blue side, and you could probably therefore warm the entire picture up a tad to add even more to its success. Well done and thanks for posting!

Don't you just hate splooges  :P

Excellent shot to start with, but you have PS'ed it very well. Agree with Dennis on the ever so slightly blue snow. Superb job Bill.

Very nice and lots better than the prior image. I like how the BG is sharp enought to show their environment very nicely.

Very nice--much better than the original!

I'm very impressed with the cloning work. I couldn't see it until I went back to look at the original--but of course now it's obvious. But I really don't think anyone but the most anal-retentive would notice until it's pointed out.
