Wanting to get a different kind of image, I tried to catch the motion of a galopping zebra.
A beanbag is probably not the best camera support for this technique.
Is this kind of blur acceptable?
Photographed in Etosha NP (Namibia), September this year.

Nikon D1x
Sigma EX 500/4.5
1/15 sec. @ f/4.5
ISO 200
Beanbag on car window

Would prefer a slight run towards or directly parallel with sensor/film but other then the slight away angle, excellent to my eye.. Thanks for posting at NatureScapes.

I like it. Panned shots are my favorite, as the implied movement makes an image so much more alive.

Excellent image. The amount of implied motion is just right, IMHO.

I'm really liking these panned-blur shots. I like this quite a bit.
