This is the lady who caused all the trouble in Dave's wonderful intimate series a couple of weeks back. As you can see - she is a feisty feline!!

All comments and critiques always welcome and appreciated and thanks for looking.

Carol,
This is a very nice portrait. Her head tilt is perfect. I wish the ear wasn't clipped, but it is probably under the slide mount.

This is sweet. Lovely light and detail, perfect depth of field and exposure. I didnt even notice the ear until I read Chris' remark.. You get so used to seeing pictures of people on TV or in print media with the top of the head cropped off etc that I seem not not even see it when something is cropped out in close up work....Well done and thanks for posting here..

She's a beauty all right. You have captured her well. I think the student has out shot the tutor :)

BTW, why isn't this on our wall :?

An absolutely beautiful portrait. I would wish for the ear to not be clipped slightly.

What a sweet, endearing pose for this troublemaker. The clipped ear doesn't bother me as the intensity in her eyes grabs and holds my attention.

Awesome!!

Beautiful, feisty females- the bane of males through the animal kingdom! :?

Great shot. The deep furrows between the ears really do it for me. You did a great job with a tough exposure.

How come I can hear the wife telling me something when I look at this great capture?

The expression is great and suggests that she is boss.

Thank you very much for all your kind comments everyone, much appreciated. I know the ear is clipped but it was a grab shot to get the expression and I had a second to choose between clipping the ear or chin - and I chose the ear!!

She's a beauty. Other than the slightly clipped ear I think this is just wonderful.
