This is one of my favorite shots from a week in Jasper in early November, and I posted it with major problems with the color balance a few weeks ago. I have been struggling with this ever since, and can't get a print that satisfies me. I don't know whether my monitor or printer is out of whack. It's driving me insane. How does this look on other monitors?

Canon Elan 7, 28-135 IS, probably Velvia 100, flash at about -1.5.

Kelly, The mountains look extremely blue on my monitor. I have no idea of what to suggest, however. I'm merely a looking lurker!

I think you nailed it this time. It looks great. The only concern is a slight cyan around the eyes, but the noses look good.. It is truly an excellent picture as it stands and I enjoy seeing it once again. Lots of great memories made on the slopes in Jasper.. Thanks for posting..

I think you would have had to be there to say whether the colours are right for this one - extreme cold and snow can make for amazing colour combinations!!

All I can say is this is a wonderful image anyway which really conveys the harsh conditions. 8) 8)

Looks great to me! But I'm still in the midst of computer woes- using Dana's uncalibrated flat screen.

I thought you had done a good job last time around and you've given me no reason to change my mind. Very nicely done.

Thanks for the feedback. There's something about the prints that is troubling. The sheep look copied and pasted, and not like they really were there, and I can't put my finger on the cause of this. Several non-photographers have seen the print and think the same. But I can't figure out a PS fix for this.
