Thanks for your comment! Here is the image for people who are interested in seeing it (sorry about the small size):
Image
There is a very interesting story here, we were driving when we saw this fox in Churchill and piled out of the van. I had my camera mounted to the 500 f/4 with 1.4x TC and with no time to put it on a tripod, I shot handheld. By the time I took this photo, I believe I had been able to remove the 1.4x TC, but this is still handheld. Foxes are wonderful creatures, and Churchill was a great place to see them.

I just got the chance to do the same with the deer at Bosque, I got a fawn full frame while handholding the 500 f/4 with 1.4x TC. Can't do that very long!

The image critique forums are really for posting images of your own. If you would like to draw attention to a certain photographer or image, feel free to do so in the Photo Topics forum. But I am really glad you like the photo! :D

Well done Heather. I like the rocks and the background trees. Fox looking across the frame is very effective.. Nice post..

Beautiful shot! The black legs and grey rocks are a nice contrast.

Handheld?! What do you eat for breakfast??

I'm just trying to keep up with Greg, who at times handholds the 600 and gets some great shots! :D
