Canon 10D 100-400 IS 5.6 Lens at 1/2500 f 5.6 ISO 200 Manual Exposure, Hand Held.

The Choke Canyon State park in Texas is full with bucks and doves, they are very approachable, the males are with full antlers at this time of the year. Peter Parker and myself had fun this past saturday. The park is open 24 hrs so early sweet light is not a problem.

Juan,
This is a great looking buck. This photo definitely says "the rut" with that swelled neck. Nice shot.

Nice portrait Juan. Isn't it nice to have a cooperative subject like this?

This is really nice, Juan. I love the neck swell on this guy, as well as the sharpness against the clean background. It looks like you may have been able to place him further right in the frame to include more of his body and balance the shot a bit.
