What a beautiful animal. Very nice environmental shot of this buck. Excellent comp and I really like the motion implied by the raised foot. Thanks for posting in Wildlife.

Hi Nicolas---I don't have any knowledge of a red deer but I like this a lot; think the stepping-out of the animal is a good pose and the rack is awesome. Might consider cropping off some of the oof grass in the lower part of the image and a bit off the sides to compensate the size.

Nice stag! Red deer (in fact all spp) are hunted so intensively down here, both from the air and ground, that a head like that would be incredibly rare in the wild and probably never seen in the open like that. I like the bit of OOF foreground and the raised foot. The composition shows a nice glimpse of habitat.
