The Naples Wolf Sanctuary is a labor of love which takes in wolves, coyotes, and large cats who's owners could not handle as pets. D60 28-135IS You can reach them at 239-455-1698 to make an appointment to visit. It is run on contributions by visitors.

Is this a hybrid wolf/dog? To my eye it looks more like a dog than a wolf. Very cute, though. :)

Pretty sure it's a wolf / dog cross. I'd guess at a timber wolf with an alsation.

A nice shot whatever it is.

Nice portrait. It looks like a wolf/Alaskan Malamute or a wolf/husky cross to me.

Very nice shot. A little less exposure would have held more detail on the right.

Nice portrait Dan.. Agree with the comment about 1/3 less on the exposure, otherwise looks terrific. Thanks for posting in Wildlife and providing a reference for possible future photoshoots for people..
