I hope you aren't getting tired of ele images - as you can probably tell, I like them!

This one had been trying to pull up some of the grass for a tasty snack. He had a hard time as he couldn't get a good grip and his trunk would just slide right off.

He gave up on the grass and just gave us a big wave and a smile.

Canon 10D, 70.0-200.0mm @ 130.0mm, Subject dist: 12.7m, 1/180 sec, f/3.5, ISO: 100, cropped a little off the bottom again.

Comments and critiques are appreciated.

Cindy

Now that's a sweet shot for sure :)

One very minor nit is the bright spot between his legs, I guess it's reflection in a puddle. Might clone it out or tone it down a little as it draws the eye.

Still a very nice shot tho'. Well done

What a cute and happy little guy. A very fun photo. I think I would consider eliminating that really bright spot between his legs.

That must be the elephant version of the milk stain smile. I like how Mom frames the background. Its a nice family portait.
