(Young Male African Elephants) Lake Kariba, Zambia, Africa

The entire sequence happened in two quick bursts lasting over about 1.5 minutes. This was the first image that they were together.

Handheld from the back of a long boat using a Nikon D1, 80-400 VR, ISO 200, Program Mode, 1/320, F9.5 @ 370mm. Leveled and cropped about 30%.

Very nice catch, especially in the water. It must have been very impressive to watch.
