Hello NatureScapers:

Another "blue sky" image from the recent STL in Jasper. One of my goals on this trip was to try to make some "AnimalScape" type pictures.. This was one of my attempts.

Thanks for looking and any comments or suggestions.

As you and Cheryl have noted the landscapes are incredible. Rarely am I drawn to the scenery as much as I am to the wildlife... I find that I have cropped many images differently on the Jasper trip than anyplace else in the world...

This is a great example of your work...great composition, well exposed, and great depiction of that ram's world...Ok, you owe me 5 bucks for all of this .... :-)

Cheers,
Jeff

Absoutlely grand Dennis.:D

The extra cold temperatures that you all had definitley adds to the scene with the frozen lake behind.

Here you go again Dennis! This would make an absolutely stunning large wall mural, its an image I could just sit and look into for eons.

I can smell the frosty air and feel the chill wind on my face just looking at this scene.

Absolutely wonderful.

 8) 8)

Gorgeous picture! Mountains and sheep are a tough combination to beat IMO. The ice on the lake is, well, frosting on the cake.

The Banff/Jasper area is so spectacular. AK has some beautiful places, but I'd have to say its second fiddle to this area.

I can't decide if this is wildlife or landscape...but it is of no consequence.
It works nicely on the wall either way.

SWEET!!!!! You are really getting good at these landscape/environment shots for a person who usually shoots really tight. This is PERFECT!!!! "So many talents, so little time" :D
