It had just stopped raining when I took this shot. I was tracking a whole herd and these two lagged behind to see what I was up to.

I really like this alot, Robert. The single-tone grass environment is great here, then the deer in the background being OOF works very well combined with the sharp deer in the foreground, plus I like the different shades of brown and the saturated look that comes with the wetness. Maybe just one step to the left to completely separate the animals from one another, but that's very minor.

This is a great image Robert and has a lot going for it. The colour of the grass and the deer peeping through is excellent. All I would wish for is a sharper eye in the foreground deer, but I do like the image as is.

I like the colors in the image and the inclusion of both deer. I wish the eyes of the front deer were sharper, but it may be the OOF grasses that make them appear soft.
