Great work! This bear sure has its eye on you! The water dripping from the chin is great.

Very nice shot, Dick. I like the pose on the bear along with the dripping chin, and the you exposed and composed this really well. I think the combination of green and white background makes for an interesting effect and works well here, although I'd be interested to see what a drop-in polarizer did for this scene.

Nice work Dick. As mentioned above, well done on the exposure and getting a catchlight, which seems to really be necessary in the bears to add life to the eyes.. Thanks for posting.

Catchlight, open mouth and dripping water are nice and the exposure looks right on. Like Matt, my first reaction was wondering if a polarizer would have helped cut the reflection (although you would have also had to dial up the ISO).

I wondered about the polarizer (don't have one for the big gun). The tradeoffs might have been too much to justify its use. Sometimes the reflections can make some interesting patterns.

I like it how it is- particularly the reflection of the bear and the wave patterns. All of which would be lost with a polarizer.

Very nice bear shot - I would wish for the sky reflected water portions to not be so white but then you take what nature gives you with these magnificent creatures.

Exposure looks great. For me that makes all the difference in bear images.
