I just realized I may have almost gotten flora, fauna and marco here in the same shot. This is captive or conditions we were trying to control. As if all the Magee warblers weren't enough, many of us got an opportunity to shoot Cheryl's Red Eyed Leaf Frogs that weekend. Thanks Cheryl! The background is Brian Z's yard. The bromiliad traveled with the frog from Ft Wayne.

Canon 10d, Sigma 180 macro, 1/200 sec f 7.1, ISO 400, tripod and ballhead.

Steve this is wonderful. The colors are dramatic yet complimentary and the overcast light is perfect. No nits here, just a huge "well done"

Steve,

Great shot. She never looked better. This is odefinitely one of the best shots I have seen of her. That was certainly an interesting shoot with 2-5 photographers and tripods gathered around my frogs and me trying to keep my hands out of everyones pictures when I needed to move the plant or a frog. I still have not had a chance to shoot my frogs outside as we seem to not all be in Lansing at the same time.

Thanks for posting this and 'we' will try to get up there next month before it gets to cold to shoot outside.

Wow, you really nailed it! These guys (girls?) were so much fun to shoot! The red bromilead was such a perfect setting for him/her.
