Motif: Lion attacking wildebeest -- Getting a grip

Here, less than a second after the last frame and less than five seconds after the start of the attack, the lion has gotten a firm grip of the wildebeest's throat with her jaw in an attempt to cut off air flow. I'm amazed at how wide open the lion's mouth is here. The next step is getting leverage for the takedown.

Matt, at a quick glance, it almost looks like the wildebeest is the attacker here. Then I noticed the jaw on both sides of the neck, and could almost see terror in the wildebeest's eye. Thanks for sharing the drama.
