Not wanting to appear cowardly and refuse to go on watch, our intrepid young Meerkat decides to ask his friend to stand watch with him - sort of 'You watch my back and I'll watch Yours'

He still can't bring himself to stand up like his elders do, but at least he is on post - and he is not alone...............

This is very cute, Carol. I like the intent expression on the critter looking towards the camera, and I especially like your descriptions of this meerkat series, which are quite entertaining and well done.

Carol,
The chap looking towards the camera is so fat he couldn't get on his hind legs even if he wants to. I'f never seen meerkats in such a good condition in my life.

Good series, I love these chaps.

What a cute little pumpkin Carol. I like this shot with the logs. Looks like someone is overdue for a manicure.
