Harbor Seals Montauk Point

I met Len at Bill at Montauk point this weekend we hoped to get some images of Seals hauled out on the rocks but it's to early in the season for then so You will have to settle for one from last winter.

Canon 1D 500mm f4 2x, Tripod ball head leveling head Sidekick, Manual exposure using incident meter 1/125 @ f16, Manual focus.

Nice shot. I like how they're all looking in different directions.

We jokingly call harbor seals "ice sausages" when we see them hauled out on glacial chunks here in AK.

Nice one! It's interesting how their bodies are in almost identical positions, but they're looking in different directions.

This is a very good shot, Jimmy. The crop certainly works well and it's great that you got all four with their heads up looking more or less towards the camera. Well done.
