The head guy tells you its your turn to take watch - but you're only young and the thought of it leaves you weak.......... doesn't it make you more vulnerable to be out here on your own???? :?

My dog has that same look when she's been caught misbehaving.

Very nice shot! I think cropping a bit off the top, thereby putting the Meerkat higher in the frame strenghten's the overall composition.

ROFL at the commentary. Gotta wonder what these guys think when they're the last of the sentries (and potential predation is highest). Love the pose and the shot & concur on E.J.'s suggested crop.

Very cute, especially with that bit of dirt or something on the tip of the nose. Great detail, especially in the eye.
