Canon 1D/600mm/

This was taken this past winter in Minnesota where I have access to a wolf rehabilitation program. He will be released back into the wild to either a National Park or some other wilderness area. He is captive but still wild. It was taken in a large enclosure.

I used sunny 22 to try to keep the whites from burning out, and lots of chemical warmers in my boots and gloves to keep warm. BRRRRR!
Thank you for taking the time to look. Hope you like it. :D

Wow, that's an intimidating look!
Gorgeous animal, I like the low angle. The whites look a bit hot on my work monitor.

A gorgeous animal and he looks wild! This is a little tight top to bottom and the background is a bit busy but its's a fine image and one I wish I had.

Whites are a little hot and it is a little tight, but it's still a dynamite shot. The open mouth that looks like a snarl and the look in the eye suggest a strong personality that you've captured well. Having it tight enhances that feeling, as does the slightly askew stance.

You already know I think this is one of the best wolf pictures I have seen. I like 'em tight for the up close visual impact. Way to go ace..
