Still reviewing shots from summer 2002. I had taken three shots of this lion pride and hadn't gotten to putting them together until now. I believe there are 21 lions here. Every few minutes, one would sit up, look around, and then go back to sleep. Wish the sitting one was facing in the other direction (and with the sun on her face), and I had to crop the furthest left leg when I adjusted to get everything square.

This is a great shot! I especially love the legs sticking up in the air!

Terrific use of the pano format here. If you wanna learn how to nap, just watch a cat- big or small they are all experts! I like the fact that each cat is doing something just a little different, the legs in the air, the one sitting up, really makes this intriguing. Very nicely executed.

Rich, you're becoming the king of the African wildlife panorama. This is a great behavior shot of lion's mid-day activity, and all the different napping positions portrayed here really make the shot. Excellent job stitching three frames together, as well. Only suggestion is that there might be an opportunity here to use a photoshop contrast mask to even the exposure out a bit.

Very nice...as others, I love the panorama. You can't get the same feeling without it... It is funny how they look like they are all relaxed and then all of a sudden they are up and alert like the one in the middle...

Cool panorama. Great to be able to get three shots without significant movement from the cats. Good they were just laying around. Really like this one.

What a great pano shot, Rich. It's hard to believe they are this laid back. This is one I would like to see large for all the expressions that are in it. Very nice!
