Here is another image I brought back from my trip to Africa this summer. There was also at least one other ele with only one tusk in this herd.
They estimate the elephant population at this reserve to be 500. There were great areas of "dead" where the eles had demolished all of the landscape. All that was left standing was bare tree trunks. Comments and critiques welcome |
