Meerkat- not standing

Usually they ae so cute standing that other images of them don't get seen normally. (Captive) This one was intent on watching the area, but did not stand up. I liked the alertness and raised paw, background isn't bad either.

I think this is outstanding, I love the pose and the background. My only suggestion might be for a touch more USM. Great capture!

I love the unique pose here! The little raised paw and over the shoulder look are wonderful as is the background. I think this is great!

Very nice. Looks plenty sharp to these old eyes. The separation from the soft partial backlighting makes it for me.

I love watching these little animals whatever they are doing and they have so many fascinating characteristics as well as their classic 'on watch' pose. This is a lovely image Steve, very well taken and presented.
