Fallow Deer (Dama dama) – Knole Park, Kent.
Canon EOS10D, 600mm/f4, Gitzo 1548 + Wimberley Head. Manual exposure using incident meter, f6.3, 1/200, iso 400. Photographed this buck about 30 minutes after sun-up, a couple of weeks ago. It is actually a composite. The moon was a few degrees to the south – about 2 frames away. I photographed the buck and the moon from the same position using the same exposure about 2 seconds apart and incorporated the images in PS. Phil Shaw
