This is a archival shot taken two years back at the Singapore Zoo and just before the shutter was released, I sweared that the swirling tail was in the frame. Guess it was not meant to be. :(
Comments appreciated.
Thank you.

He looks ready to pounce

Nice capture, shame about the tail, otherwise a good shot.

The crouch and the look in its face can make me easily overlook the tail. Fantastic head-on image here, great intensity.

Very intense shot here -- I love the pose and expression of the tiger, how he's looking right at you, and the feeling the dark background gives the image. Exposure is perfect -- only nit is that those big catchlights look a bit unnatural to me.

Intense look and crouch really make this shot stand out. I can imagine the twitching tail curled in the upper right.

E.J. already said what I was thinking. :)

I love the intensity of the eye contact here. The whole shot seems to be filled with concentrated power.

Great capture! Was someone trying to steal his lunch? He looks ready to leap!

Thanks for the replies, guy. Now what I need to do is to get a pic of the hidden dragon that is trying to steal his lunch

Great intensity in the gaze and the tension in the pose. The big catchlights are a bit distracting and it looks like it could take another shot of USM. Will be watching for the dragon!
