Hello NatureScapers..

Same trip as the prairie dog shown in my last post, I hoped to get some close ups of bison calves. Often they are on the move and are wandering and grazing and I found it very difficult to get any decent shots. Late one afternoon I found the group near the road, laying down, chewing cud and basically loafing.

I metered by starting at sunny sixteen then adjusting based on histogram. I don't have the exif date at this location tonight, but I can look it up later if anyone is interested.

Love the light; love the pose. I might take a sliver off the right to remove that one twig. I also love the single blade of grass in its mouth.

Very Sweet. The exposure is fabulous as usual and the FG and BG really ads to this image. This baby really has a sweet face. Love the light too.Outstand!!! :D
