 Hello NatureScapers... This is a harp seal pup image made in March in the Magdelan Islands, Quebec. The pack ice of course shifts and moves in the currents, sometimes large sheets coming together producing hills of ice material. The seal pups seem to like hanging out in these areas, probably because of the wind block effect. I am heading out to Canada for about ten days.
