this is another of the series of Mohlerized shots I have been posting. I entered this shot (slightly different since it was a slide, and won in the monthly photo contest (special effects) in Photographic Magazine a few years ago. Perhaps partially because of the amount of things done.
Technically this is two shots, plus mohlerization of one, and a double exposure. The giraffs were shot from a TV program, then the engraving (MOH) process on the print. Then the image was placed on a slide copy stand, shot with transparency film. Then both were used on a slide copier, double exposure.

You went to some trouble to get this one Steve :)

Although it's interesting and different, I don't like this one as much as the other two. Now if you had posted this one first ...... ;)

The reply above would go along with my first thought- reminds me of lava lamps and the early 70s and stuff. Thanks Steve... nice work, unique, with great colors and very interesting and fun shapes.

Hmmm... I think I would like this better without the ripples. Just my opinion. Interesting image.

A little more than a year ago, you showed me one of these and I thought what in the world have you been drinking!
But boy does this technique grow on you!!
I do like the others you have shown a little better than this one, but still, truly enjoy looking at and studying these images and technique.
Very cool indeed!! 8)
