Thanks for your post here and cool shot.. Very smooth water really adds to the effect of the stalking gator...I wouldnt mind seeing a couple more jolts of USM and I am wondering what it would look like in a pano crop, but you might loose the very cool water.. Other then that, excellent shot and thanks again for your contribution here..

Like the composition as it stands and like the look right at you. Concur with Dennis on another shot of USM.

Very nice Dan!
I would simply try the sharpening tool in PS and to run it along the body to make that pop just a tad more.
Still, ............ I like it! 8)

Thanks, guys. I'm still learning about the web. This prints tack sharp. I guess JPGs mush up a bit. BTW. if you turn it vertically, it looks like a really skinny aligator

Nice reflection. Make sure you apply your USM to the resized for web image as opposed to reducing your made for printing image. It makes a difference. If your print is tack sharp, your image posted here should be as well with the correct amount of USM. Thanks for posting.

I think this is cool. :) I also like the suggested pano crop. I turned it vertical (well I tilted my head sideways) and it does look like a skinny alligator! I like the symmetry of this image.
