Ok, so I know alot of you already, but it is officially my first post on NatureScapes. I have just signed up and decided to become an active member. The Air Force has been pretty rough on me this year, but I have still managed to find time to shoot. I will be deploying in December to top it all off so hopefully I will get to go spend some time with these guys in the rut before I leave. This guy was one of the bucks I spent some time with this summer in Custer State Park. Let me know what you think.

Looks like a nice Buck Cory. Pretty rough terrain too.
I'm sorry to hear you're deploying. I've been there myself and know the feeling.
Maybe next year you can make it down this way. I'd be glad to show you some more good Whitetail photography in this state of Texas.
Make sure you let us know when you get back.
Hope to see more shots of the rut in your location.
Pete

Cory- Great to see that you've joined NSN! I recall your excellent images and look forward to seeing more.

That's a beautiful buck- nicely framed for publication. Almost looks as if he was using the small pine in front of him to polish those nice antlers. I like the texture in the tree bark- nothing like that up here.

I am delighted you have come here to post your images and become an active member. I remember enjoying your images greatly in the old days and look forward to seeing more of your work. I know that typical Custer hillside look, nice shot on the buck.. Thanks again for posting.

Thanks Tim and Dennis. I have been planning to join for some time now, but my work schedule has been pretty rough until recently. I have a little bit of a break now so hopefully I can make up for it. Dennis, if you make it back out this way look me up. I have seen some excellent custer shots from you as well.

Good to see your work again. Love the way he's situated in his environment. Might boost the contrast just a bit.
