Canon 1D, 70-200mm @ 155mm, F5.6, ISO 200, 1/200sec.

While in Montana at Triple D on a STL workshop with Charlie this sweet little guy was one of our models. His name is Winston and he can be a little "nippy" although you would never know it by his cute little face. I know that some people look at raccoons as little trouble makers. But, I have a soft spot for them since I had to raise three as orphans when I was a kid.
I hope you like it and thanks for taking the time to look :)

This is outstanding Karen, one of the better Raccoon shots I have seen. The expression on his face is fantastic.

Nicely done. Love the raccoon's look and the paws in the water. Wish the rock in the foreground wasn't there. (With raccoons and rabbits, I'm always torn - take out the camera or the 22 - especially when they're in the barn or eating in the garden!)

Probably the best raccoon photo I have seen. I love the submerged paws. :)

I love this one....especially near and dear to my heart as I helped raise an orphan when I was a kid. They are something else!!!! Beautiful pose...with a look of innocence.

Very nice. I like the wiskers and the searching front paws.

The foreground rock is a bit distracting.

Excellent shot Karen. Nice that you caught all of his tail. Great exposure as the mask makes this animal tough to keep the eye detail showing.

If trouble weren't their middle name, we wouldn't like them 1/2 as much.
Great shot.
