Logan Pass, MT

A few of us spent sometime before Triple D in Glacier National Park, MT.
We started our climb at an altitude of 6880 ft. and I can tell you this sea-level boy was shortly sucking air as if through a straw. We finally located this mountain goat after hiking 3/4 mile up the mountain trail. Would I do it again, yes, and did in fact the very next day :)

Thanks Dennis, and Karen XXOO

Best and see you in the field,

Chas

Chas glad you enjoyed a popular new form of photoaerobic work out. Lug 60lbs of stuff up a mt into thin air, then photograph a goat and lug it all back down again using the opposite leg muscles.. :? You did pretty well for a city kid with bum knees..Nice photo BTW..

Outstanding! A terrific portrait. My wife and I made that hike three times before we even saw a goat so I can sympathize. What is the OOF BG? Fall color or rock?

Over the shoulder pose and contrast with the background are very nice. Love that eye. Best thing about the photo though is that it indicates your knee has come along quite well!
