Hello NatureScapers..

Its good to be back to the forum and see everyone's work again. I think everyone had a great time in Montana at Chas's STL. I got to catch up with some old friends and make a few new ones... This is one of my favorite bobcat images from the trip. "Betty" was turned loose in a compound which was partially wooded and partially meadow. The rest was left to us...She stopped a second to crawl up on a birch stump here with some fall color in the bg..

Thanks for looking and any comments or suggestions..

Very nice shot Dennis. I really like the soft light we had for most of the shoots. I can see why this was one of your favorites-it looks very natural and the colors are wonderful.

This is superb Dennis, I just love everything about this image - not least your own inimitable style.

Captive or not, the talent of the photographer will shine through, and this one positively glows!

I love your mammal shots. This is just gorgeous, Dennis. I really like the inclusion of the birch stump and yellow leaves.

Nice, healthy-looking cat. Very beautiful. Appears a bit hesitant---she's not looking at you---what is she watching?

What a magnificent face and an excellent exposure to boot!!!, Compositional it could not be better, the sliver of habitat with the fall colors is but the icing on the cake!!!, Killer IMO!!! 8) 8) 8)

Wonderful shot, Dennis! What really gets me are the way her ears are cocked, and the tufts on the tips of her ears.

Excellent, as always! The composition is great with the autumn colors and the funny ear positions.

Excellent capture and a beautiful face on this cat. I run into Bobcats frequently out here but you can't believe how fast they can scram :) .
