This bear walked across the grassy area and passed us very close.

Flash used, it was early and the bear was coming out of the grassy area, evidently still wet from dew.

This is a really great shot! The catchlights are great. I really like the composition here with the bear in mid stride.

Just an excellent composition as far as I'm concerned. Love the scraggely, wet fur and look on the animal's face. Seems a slight bit contrasty but that could be this monitor.

Very nice, in-your-face shot. Like the bear's look and good background. Only thing I'm not wild about is the catchlight in the right eye. (May be just compression artifact but its squareness looks unnatural.)
