I do love me an "animalscape". Been digging through my archives and found some images I'd skimmed over previously.

This giraffe was feeding on a camelthorn tree in the Kalahari desert (Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park) while a hectic summer storm was building up at sunset.

Beautiful "animalscape"! Those clouds are amazing. The giraffe seems unconcerned.I wonder what it did in the storm. Love the way this is composed.

Marvellous use of space to highlight the vastness of the Kalahari Morkel. Beautiful image!

Great composition and wonderful mood in this lovely giraffescape Morkel. The fading light and brooding sky really tell the story.
