They say you should never get between a hippo and the water.  It makes them grumpy.  7D2, Sigma 150-600mm@150mm, F8, 1/320, ISO 1600, handheld.  Thanks for any comments or suggestions, Dave

Hippos are extremely territorial and come out of the water to graze - you get between them and their 'safe place' the water, and they become a killing machine. They kill around 500 people a year, compared to Lions who kill around 20 to 24. An excellent capture of typical Hippo aggression, Dave!
