Beautiful image of this wide eyed cub, Dave! I love those so expressive eyes and the wildflowers add a nice touch to finish off this lovely frame.

Carol.

Thank you Carol.  I'll oft reply with "appreciated".  it's not an adequate response or reflection of my true thoughts.  The appreciated bit is quite a few notches up.

Have been quite privileged with this Fox family.  The lady, willingly accepts me, providing I don't cross any barriers.  (in my garden if I stand, she is still the Fox.  When I sit, I am her friend...  Mostly, trigger is movement or height...we seem comfortable with that arrangement).

The dog fox I have watched for some months and has always kept a distance.  I suspect now, I have been accepted in his way, as his view of me the other night was not of alarm and flee, so is probably used to my scent. (and I was allowed to get an image).... Either way, once he had tagged me, he was happy to amble on his way.

Yes, it is always a privilege when wild creatures come to accept us - always on their terms, of course.  We can learn a lot from each other without overstepping the boundaries that keep both parties from harm.  Enjoy the times you share with your little family and we will happily appreciate the images you get.  :)

What a lovely interaction and experience, David - so glad you are able to share part of it with us.
Savour those moments - life doesn't get much more precious than this.

Simply gorgeous portrait BTW :)

The fox looks quite curious, and the facial expression is great. Makes you wonder what is going on in that little head. :)

Yes! Love that look-so precious. Glad you did this so we can really appreciate those bright eyes and baby fur. What a treasure. Thanks for sharing this family story in so many ways.
