Another image of it giving me the eye.   Z9 and 100-400 S Nikkor at 400.  Hh 1/50 F5.6 ISO 5000.

Believe this to be the dog Fox of the family.
Thanks for looking.

With the slight head move it really shows just how thin this one is. If it is the dog, he must have been kept very busy supplying food for the vixen and cubs which might explain his own condition. Perhaps now they are getting older he can gain back some of his body condition. Again, a nice facial expression.

Hello David, Please excuse my ignorance, but what do you mean when you said this Fox might be, "the dog Fox of the family?" I don't have the Z9 but have used it and my only complaint is that I wish Nikon would have made it a bit smaller and lighter.

Hi Gene

Just an English phrase for the male. (I believe this to be the male parent of the Fox family I have been tracking this Summer and Spring).  Hope that helps... :)

I wonder how often you see him. He doesn't look as friendly and relaxed as the vixen. Quite the look you are getting!

Thanks Cindy. First time I've had a chance to have a proper look as this bad boy has always kept his distance. Def' not as friendly or relaxed as the vixen.
