More a continuation.  Shot full frame and using the 100-400 S Z lens so was mainly in trial mode.

Z7II  Z 100-400 F4.5 /5.6  ISO 2000 1/1000 F5.6 at 400mm.

Please feel free to view uncompressed.

FF and HH.

On another note, yesterday she was looking at the Foxgloves in the garden.  First thought was she was sniffing the flowers, which I thought odd.  Then, a Bubble Bee emerged.   She was only going to snack it...LOL

This image has heather in the bg and I believe she was eyeing some birds on a tree.

This is a lovely view of her Dave, and nice to see that squinty eye wide open and focussed.  Beautifully done!   Just what is a 'bubble Bee'?

Omg.  Carol.  There’s a new species.   Perhaps cruel elde age is creeping up and it’s really a Bumblebee in disguise.   Lol.  Best chuckle I’ve had in a few days.  Thank you as always for your kind thoughts, amusing and insightful feedback.  Difficult to translate in text my amusement at my own fool hardiness and the pleasure from your humour.

The weekend is coming so in advance hope you Dave and Captain Jack enjoy

She sure gets around. Love the intense look and lovely side view of her this time. I hope she didn't eat the "bubble bee". :).

Nice addition to your series. What a beautiful animal to have right in your backyard. I may have mentioned previously that my journalist nephew shoots with the 100-400 S Z lens and thinks it's great. Your image seems to confirm his feelings.

At least we can share a much needed laugh, Dave.   Jack behaves exactly the same as your foxy lady with bees in my foxgloves!

Thanks for your kind wishes, we send the same right back at you.  :)

Loving the intent in the pose here, and beautiful fur detail from that 100-400 Dave, you must be thrilled.

Thanks Marc.  Am liking that lens a lot.  Still waiting on the 1.4 to pair with it.  800 will follow as will the Z9.  Should give me a good range of options without too much weight.  Nice thing, is it appears there isn't a duff lens in the Z line up.

Me too Axel.   :(    Whilst out running in the early mornings I come across another Fox, a few miles from home, but still haven't seen any kits from any brood yet.  (maybe they don't have their parents boldness and are only active at night).  Sooner or later when food becomes pressing, they'll show.

Nicely composed and a nice background. Your foxes look a little different than ours here in the states but I can't quite tell what the difference is.

Your Foxes look prettier Steve.  8)     Their hair is longer and they look more elegant.  Could be the colder winters...
