Taken near Torrres Del Paine National Park. This is the Puma "Blinka" and one of her two cubs in an area near the lake that she has selected for her nursery.  This was demonstrated in BBC's "Dynasties II" filmed a couple of years ago, where "Blinka" fought off a competing mother Puma.

Canon EOS R5, RF 100-500/4.5-7.1.  f/8, 1/640, ISO 1600.

Wonderful use of the landscape Bob. They are both well camouflaged, with the cub more so. Lovely sighting.

I watched that amazing BBC wildlife film about these  incredible pumas, Bob - Rupestre and Blinka (so called as she has only one eye) what a survivor she is.  This image of yours is a wonderful glimpse into their life and chosen habitat where they can almost vanish with their  natural camouflage - and its beautifully done.  I Love it!  What a view!

Amazing camouflage- a wonderful shot-I almost didn't see the cub. I love the whole scene, showing their habitat.
