I hardly ever see Red Squirrels anymore and was happy this one was cooperative.

Beautiful portrait with classic squirrel pose and lovely complementary colours in the soft light, Axel. Excellent shot!

+1. Nice image of this Red Squirrel.  Unfortunately we have far too many of them up here. The cute little things are the bane of all small nesting birds as they eat their eggs and young as they are more carnivorous than Grey Squirrels.

Very nice pose -they are cute! And as Warren says, very destructive- we also have too many. Partly our fault as we feed the birds, and they pick up the crumbs. Luckily, they can't get to the feeders.

Interesting, Warren and Cynthia! Around here the Gray Squirrels have pretty much taken over.
