Taken in 2011!
Panasonic GH1, 14-140, f/5.8,1/250,ISO 100

The beautiful young fox came to our yard ,way back in 2011, and explored all around, apparently oblivious of my dashing around the house grabbing shots. One of the most memorable days of my life here at home.
Here she is puzzled that a squirrel apparently dashed up a tree , evading her clumsy lunge . Perhaps she thought it would come back down if she stared hard enough.

Reprocessed in photoshop and Topaz.

Wonderful when wildlife pays you an unexpected visit like this, Cindy! You definitely made the most of your opportunity with this beautiful capture, a superb image, and I love the fact that the fox is totally absorbed in watching the squirrel up the tree which makes this a lovely peep into its natural behaviour. Well done!

Carol.

Great-looking fox and the story is really funny. Something tells me the squirrel was not too interested in playing with her. :)

Thanks so much for comments and EP. Amazing that this was taken with an old Panasonic-really was quite a nice camera in it's day, and light-weight!! (I still have GH3 and the same old lenses...)
