The Red-legged Pademelon (Thylogale stigmatica) is a small macropod that lives in the tropical rainforest. Normally solitary. About 40cm tall. Although I have some without the OOF foreground, I like this effect.

I see what you mean, Greg - peeping through the oof foliage seems rather appropriate for this shy forest dweller. Nicely done.

Never knew about this group marsupial until now, Greg. So many thanks for that. Only 40cm tall!!

With regards the OOF foreground - I'm not sure that it works here. Partly because the background is so much more in focus that it doesn't feel balanced. Also, the vegetation on the ground is very pale and I find that it draws too much attention from the scene. This, of course, is just my opinion!
Regards,

Des
